Sylvester Stallone Documentary on Netflix

Sly is capable of anything Arnie can. And you? In spite of having Arnold Schwarzenegger as its Chief Action Officer, as well as the action-comedy series FUBAR and a three-part documentary on him, it appears like Netflix is spying on someone behind Schwarzenegger’s back. And later this year, when the documentary Sly is released on streaming services, we’ll all get to see him.

Sly, which stars an introspective Stallone reflecting on his life, regrets and all, promises to give much the same as Arnold, or as the official log line puts it… “This retrospective documentary offers an intimate look at the Oscar-nominated actor-writer-director-producer, paralleling his inspirational underdog-story with the indelible characters he has brought to life.”

The documentary, directed by Thom Zimny, will be available on Netflix in November. We can’t help but wonder what Arnie thinks of it (probably fine, since any rivalry with Stallone was buried years ago), or what Paramount was thinking by letting this one slip through its fingers, especially since it already has Sly’s The Family Stallone and Tulsa King ripe for cross-promotional goodness.
